600 Bourke Street Lobby Refurbishment

It was a pleasure to work on refitting this older building in the heart of Melbourne. Taking the history and character of the original building into account, while bringing in window furnishings that will suit modern office usage was an integral part of this brief. We worked with SHAPE builders and NH Architecture in selecting screen metalised blinds by Vertilux, which we fit to all perimeter windows. The subtle sheen of the luxe material on these blinds made them a perfect partner to the textured elements the architect fitted these new rooms with. A high-end product with durability that will keep them looking great for a long life, with heat blocking properties that will keep office staff cool and comfortable, these metalised blinds were an inspired choice by NH Architecture.

A complete rebuild of a building means a lot of trades to work around, all in the tight spaces of busy Melbourne streets. Our streamlined installation processes and our skilled tradespeople came into their own as we fitted out 14000 blinds throughout the 15 floors of this building. All delivered on time and on budget with the NOORI standard of excellence.
