Chaucer Street — Moonee Ponds

A considered alteration and addition behind a heritage façade, designed by Sync Architecture and built by Fortier. The new extension is wrapped in seamless concrete render with curved edges and soft geometry, set quietly against the heritage form. Inside and out, a consistent palette of Super White Dolomite and natural stone runs through to the pool and outdoor kitchen, blurring interior and exterior. Full-height glazing, fluted glass and black steel framing add depth; a sculptural staircase and curated lighting do the rest. NOORI furnished the home with sheer curtains, motorised roller blinds across the larger glazing, and manual roller blinds in the bedrooms — quiet daylight tuning behind the architecture.
