The brief was clear: a modern home that makes a statement in a heritage precinct. Architect Milenko Podnar responded with bold, monochromatic forms — minimal windows along the streetfront, an interplay of masonry and steel cladding — built by Mancini Made for clients with high standards on workmanship. Inside, natural stonework and large porcelain slabs run through the kitchen and wet areas, around an open-living plan. NOORI furnished the home with sheer curtains, motorised roller blinds across the larger glazing, and manual roller blinds in the bedrooms — privacy where the architecture asked for it, soft daylight everywhere else. Shaded by NOORI.
